On the occasion of the transfer of public services to the premises of PYRKAL, a survey was carried out in the public buildings of Athens that were released from them. We were interested in the new footprint of the state in the city centre and its transition to a new digital reality.

The aim of the project is to create a data and research centre, using 2 different approaches . In one case we followed a specific typology to design research and study spaces while in the other case we organized single spaces for different functions based on different typologies.

Specifically, in the case of the Stadiou, an enclosed space is formed around the central atrium which hosts the servers of each floor while around it the building's circulation is developed which leads to the research and study spaces. These spaces are developed along the facades of the building and consist of the researchers' workstations and a library system with content appropriate to the research.

The ground floors of the building hosts specially designed spaces for the promotion of original objects and high-tech constructions.
