Researchers: Chrysostomos Bantis, Eleni KolliαOur study area was Akademias Street, where we were particularly impressed by the area of the Athens Trilogy. There, we observed the stark contrast between the open space within the dense built urban fabric and the public character it creates with this condition. Another point of observation was the height difference between the buildings of the Trilogy and the surrounding newer polikatoikia buildings, which acted as a frame for the significant, the admirable. These newer buildings are primarily office buildings, though we also identified some listed interwar and
older buildings.
