Ministry of Culture is housed in a five-storey building in Mpoumpoulina's street in Exarchia. It is considered as an early modern architectural building and an example of erker's application (protruding volumes up to 1.40m from the level of the facade). It has two arcades and three internal open spaces, which provide lighting and ventilation to the 40 apartments and access to their entrances. It is characterised by structural simplicity and strict morphological expression. The lack of balconies was a bold architectural act, which indicated the architect's Central European influences and acceptance of modernist principles.
