One of the tallest towers in Athens is home to the Directorate for Training and Coordination of the Implementation of Fiscal Rules, a service of the Ministry of Finance. This imposing 20-storey building is located at 124 Kifissias Avenue and has a total area of 40,000 square metres. It was built by D. Ioannidis in 1980 and its original use was to host the Athens Exhibition Centre until the 1990s. It was then the headquarters of Allianz Insurance and today it hosts offices of other companies and services. The interior is suitably designed so that it can be converted into office space or large halls depending on the needs of the occupants. The Ministry of Finance has occupied the first 3 floors (1250 sqm each). The other storeys are home to the offices of EADAP, the TERNA group, HERON, etc. In the 16th level there are the offices of DAKON SA, which manages the property. Last but not least, the building includes 4 levels of underground parking for 500 cars.
