The publicly owned building, was built in the early 1970s and owned by the Deposits and Loans Fund. It is centrally located, a block away from the National Technical University of Athens and the National Archaeological Museum and a five minute walk from Omomoia Square. The U shaped building faces busy Patission and the narrow Canningos and Solomou streets. Until 2023 the building housed the Directorate General for Pensions. Its entrance is not imposing. It is identified by the later addition of a metal sign with the name “EFKA” above it. Inside, there are offices of the service and the archive of the TPC. Building with several damages both externally and internally.
