The building of the Ministry of Tourism is located directly opposite the main entrance of the National Garden . It was built between 1955-65 and its architect is Anastasios Kalogeropoulos. It is a building with a particularly privileged position, since it is located near Syntagma Square and the Parliament. This building was formerly owned by the National Bank of Greece, while it is now entirely the home of the ministry. This is quite an interesting building. Its appearance with the elaborate decorations repeated on its balconies is one of its main features. Their entrance also with the details and decorations does not in any way precede the entrance to a building belonging to the government of the state. More reminiscent of the view of an apartment building
